Support experience? Really bad especially when you send emails and you get ignored along with e-ticket questions take days to get a reply and the only quick reply you can get is only through international calls since the local MSI service center only deals in laptops. Not happy that I do not have full control over a gpu i paid 1350 USD for? So dissatisfied. Am I happy with the raw power performance? Yes. So, my gpu temperature is good (the air conditioning plays a good part in that) but the noise is so very loud.Ĭompared to 2 friends who own RTX 2080 TI cards one of them is EVGA FTW3 and the second one is Aorus Xtreme, they have full control of everything. The gpu works fine but I cannot control the fans. Lastly, they said (they think) something is wrong with the card and that I should RMA and since I bought it from amazon USA, I have to ship it to the USA and go through the process which might take 15 to 20 business days from the time they receive the gpu.ĭid some research about MSI RMA service.in general the feedback is that they are among the worst, some described the process as taking about 2 months or so. Note that my card temperature gets to 68-72 in a room with air conditioning and they replied via the support that the fans should not go full throttle all the time at that temperature but sadly once the gpu is under load it goes max rpm while not posting the correct percentage of the fan speed (shown in the video as well) Sent them a video showing that issue as well (posted on youtube). I?ve tried MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision, Argus Monitor?still no use. Then they said that the gpu bios is made so that the user can NOT set a curve BUT you can manually set a specific speed and have the card stay on it, which works only if the GPU is NOT under load meaning idle situation (no game on). My case is the thermaltake level 20 xt so there zero sag issues. Simply put this issue happens when the GPU is under load from any game. I have the same issue with my RTX 2080 TI and I spent a long journey with the online support and calling them by phone and they suggested updating the bios and using ddu for a clean uninstall/install and checking how the gpu is seated.
